Cool Exterior Gauges

Does anyone have any gauges mounted on the cowl area ( outside)? if so where did you get the mounting pods? and do you have any pics.?

I've seen it done, mostly on aussie cars and p-r rotaries. I'm sure it involves mostly custom (if not all custom) work. I know it's not much help but I have seen them out there.

Free bump anways

I've also seen on aussie race cars. They usually do it to monitor oil and fuel pressure and is more safe for the driver and easier for the tech to not have to sit in the car. I think

I've seen them on "muscle cars" but not on the RX7 ..think about it though..you have gauges on the outside of your car..you live in NEW YORK..might as well put a giagantic bull's eye on your car with a sign that says STEAL ME..(not raggin ya ..just lookin out for ya)..if it's a street car,I would advise against it..personally I would rather have the gauges in the car, where you can see them at a glance..
