Arrow Exhaust idea ?

I`am in the process of building a custom header..
Post you ideas, and pics of how it should look.
It will be a conventional 2 into 1 type header.

I just feel like buildingsomething different..one that looks different than the racing beat style one`s

i like dule strait pipes....id keep them big, thick, and durable...and shiny....but braced together

just my 2 but i think it would flow bettter out of one pipe per port all the way back sincee back pressure isnt really an issue

Depends on the engine...for an extend port or larger, keep the primaries separate in 2" piping to the diff into the main pipe mandrel bent over the diff (in 2.5" or 3" depending on the application.

The extractors (headers as you guys call em), should have the pipes come out as far as possible from the mounting plate (ie perpendicular to engine) before mandrel bending gradually back to the rear of the car. This will give exhaust gas maximum exit velocity. The length should be matched as close as possible to maximise extraction.

If its a stock port or street port, or whatever you guys call them, two into one at around the start of the front seats is fine using 2" primaries (same extractor design though) into 2.25" or 2.5" single pipe.

Use quality straight through mufflers if at all possible, rather than baffled ones.

Thanks!
I just feel like being different, but not quite pip-ou-the-bonnet-different.. :-)

Anybody going to draw up a pic for me ?Need my old brain to start thinking.
I was thinking of using 2.5 " pipe for the header..seeing that i had a flange lazercut with that size holes.
