exhaust flanges

are the exhaust flanges for the 12a same for the 13b? i know they look the same. cause i am going to make a turbo manifold and there is no point if i can buy a 13b manifold for the turbo i have.

you can buy the 13b manifold, but you will need a 12a "engine to header flange" from racing beat or you can make your own. Then fab them togeather.

ok, so as in fabing them, do you need to been them farther apart or closer? im guessing thats what you have to do

You can use either flange on either engine, you simply cut the flange in 1/2. When using a 13B flange on a 12A, you need to cut a 10 mm+ slot out of the center.

However, if you want to reduce the chance of exhaust leaks and exhaust studs pulling out from stress, buy the appropriate flange for the engine and turbo.
