Under my hood you can hear like a ping of the engine. And you can hear it out the muffler. I think it started when i corrected my timing. Sounds like its coming from near the header. its hard to explain

What could it be?

 

I have a pacesetter header and ive heard theyre known for their pingy sound. But ive never notice this before.

Could correcting the timing start that noise?

 

Ive had that since i switched to my Rb header as well. Im pretty sure its just the sound of the combustion. Ur hearing everything your engine does with a header.
