It looks alot like an ISC racing kit, of course without the hood. FOr those of you who want a link t maybe buy it check it out here,

http://www.iscracing.net/body_kit.htm

$1200 for everything uncluding really light hood
We're buying it next year when we turn our IT7 car into an EProd car.

I looked at your pic real good, and the kit is not wide anuff to be the racing version. your rear fenders are also the wrong design to be the racing version. the front fenders are also the wrong design to be the racing version. I am positive its the 5 piece street version or a copy of the pacific 79-80 body kit I mentioned above.

It is an IMSA wide body kit/racing kit w/e. I've seen a few others. Theres a kit selling on ebay in fact if I recall correctly.

I need to throw up a few pics of my 7, I got it for $900 and all it needed were some tunes

whitewidebodyrx7 the body kit on your car is not the miraih body kit. it is the pacific 7 piece body kit for 81 through 85 or a (copy of) part number for your kit from pacific was 40imsa1. your pic is a little blured but it looks as if your car also has their optional low profile whale tail part #40imsa4g thats the same as I have on my kit. my car is whit also. IMO the car looks better with window trim in a gloss black. what size wheels do you hae on your car? mine are 15 x 8.5 on front and 15 x 9.25 on rear.

guys please do not give this guy bad info on what his kit is. if he breaks part of it an needs to get a replacement fender or airdam he will end up with the wrong part and it will not fit. there are many companies that make copies of these kits even though the OEM of the kit may be out of bussiness.

louved_gen1 please do not lisen to people that are guessing on what you have. the street kit is wide , looks good and is designed for the street. it is thicker FG and more durable for the street. although it is also not as wide as the racing kit. consider what size wheels you have on the car, could you install 12 inch wide wheels on the rear with out them sticking out? mod wheels in these sizes are $500+ how about 9 or 10 inch wide on front?what about tires for the wheels that would fill up the fenders on the racing version. to give you guys an idea on the wheels, dave kent you designed the racing version used 15 x10 gottis with 23 x 10.5\15 tires on the front and 15 x 12 gottis with 25 x 11\15 on the rear. the street version of this kit is very good looking an something you should be proud of. some people still used this kit on their race cars even though it was the street version. the sugested size wheels for the street kit were 15 x 7 front and 15 x 8 on the rear. IMO the street kit looked a little tucked in with the 7 inch wide on the front and the rear look better with 8.5 wide. so in case your pic is very deciving your kit is the street based version of the dave kent designed race kit. sorry got a phone call before I could post this

Guys:
Trust kuhlrx7 and me on this. This is "most likely" an old Pacific T-TOPS IMSA street kit for 79-80 RX-7s. I can't be 100% sure from just pics, but it looks like it.... It is not the race kit, but a street version that was offered up by a few companies in the '80s... I was around back then and had several friends that actaully bought the kits directly from Pacific in the 80s. I also walked into Pacific in So-Cal many a time to purchase kits and glass roofs. At the moment, I consult for Mariah, and I'm good friends with the og founder of Rotary Engineering... I'm pretty well versed on body-kits for 1st gens.

I still have the original company catalogs, as it seems that kuhlrx7 does also...

The car in the pics you posted is not exactly a Mariah MODE-1 widebody. This is a custom hybrid that has standard MODE-1 front fenders and race GTO rear fenders; not the standard MODE-1 rear fenders. This car was a custom job for a client that wanted wider than standard MODE-1 wheels.... IIRC he was running 11.5 inch wide custom HRE's, and needed the bigger rear fenders.

bern yeah I still got some of them. I used to have most all of the cats and referance stuff but through the years some got loaned with out return, some went with other rx7s I sold and others wore out. I used to have 2 leagle boxes of the old club mags (RR) but between moves they did not make it through storage (damn presure washers). the old/new impact parts has the old 5 piece pacific kit on ebay right now for around $600. that is the kit we are talking about.

I still am not able to post pics for some reason.

Fortunately, I still have an almost complete excellent condition set of RR mags, except for a few very early issues that I'm trying to track down at the moment. If anyone has early '79-'80 RR mags and wants to sell or trade them, please let me know.

louved_gen1, your welcome!
