finally after a year of owning the car....i will have an engine shipped to me in about a week or so.....she will be alive!!!!! now who wants to helpput it in?

If you have a place to do it, that would help, swapping could be done in a weekend. I've done/helped on quite a few. its not really a bad job, just kinda dirty.
If you got a place to swap it, set up another RX-7 day, get a big BBQ pit, and we'll have at it

 

good luck, but you should be fine. i did an engine swap a while back , and i have very minimal knowledge. i would be right there to help, but as with silverrocket i too am a bit far

okay rotorhead the only way to get this car running by the twentythird is to have somebody with major rotary knowledge to help me do this.....otherwise its gonna take me all weekend and my weekends are coming short i should have the engine sometime next week..(sending the money tomorrow) and no i do not post nakid pics of myself...im not trying to scare you!

 

Too bad you dont live in AL anymore, I can do it in a day, barring any major complications.

Hmmmm, I don't want to sound like a dirtball but a girl that's into rx7's that's a bit of a turnon I'd also love to help but like 85rx7gs I'm in Northern NJ so that's a bit too far

 

If I could find one of those, I would be complete.

 

For me its more like girls that drive big 4x4's (especially a Toyota like mine), drive RX-7's (especially a 1st gen like mine), or ride dirtbikes (especially 2-stroke motocrossers like me) ...I would just love to met more of those kinda women . I see quite a few where I go riding, but I need more!! And I have yet to meet a girl that drives a 7 .

I pulled up right next to a cute girl in an FB this summer in Toronto. Then she gave me a big smile and we exchange a few words. But what do I do? I nail it off the light and she doesn't. It was busy traffic and I lost her. I'm still kicking myself for that... one of my worst rookie moves yet.

Ok you got a used engine, and you just need to swap it?

If you got a good garage and the tools and a engine hoist/lift. Shouldn't take long at all.. I remember doing a Mazda rebuild swap for a friend a few years back, and it taking about 8-9 hours... Started on it around 4 or 5PM and was done by 2 in the morning. Of course I was suppose to be HELPING, and I ended up doing all of it. **** he was drunk by 10pm.

Baring any major complications tho

i like your means of reason,when i switch over to the street port ill have to call ya up to michigan,im 2 cities up from det.will throw a big ol bbq,beer,etc.
no drinking and working on the maz though
