every rx-7 in ORLANDO area!
alright me and a few other rx-7 owners in central florida are trying to get as many 7's together and shoot and exclusive rx-7 vid. if your in the area, and interested, PM me or post. if your not i dont think you would want to waste your time....but we are going to make this vid with or with anyone else cuz we already have plenty of 7's doing it, but if anyone else wants to do it and get in on the action let me know. it should be fun and you get to meet other 7's in the area. later

You should ride out to Lakeland drag strip on thurs rep the 7's. They have a few rotary powered cars, but not many Rx-7's. Show the pissed-on engines wassup! Then you could have a good vid of some speed! And not have to worry about the pigs! Keep updating on what going on with you guys, I might get tempted in riding out to check out the action?

For the guys in the Orlando area, where do you guys go to get seven parts, Racing Mania? Maybe over to Kilo's shop. I wouldn't think it'd be that hard to round up rx7's in the orlando area. I see alot of sevens down there but I think I see more datsuns and toyotas with rotary engines than I do sevens. Are you guys trying to find all the rotary people or just sevens?

Hey hiboost,
I have a vacation home in WinterPark on the lake! Cool to see you are from Winterpark!
With some advance notice we could perhaps do a party after the 7 video. What do you think? I would like to talk to RX7 guys in person !

I would never recommend anyone to Ortiz Speedshop. Having dealt with them for several years they could never get my stuff properly running, always some tuning issues and the mechanic that works on your car doesn't do that much of a nice job and doesn't really take care of it, that and the fact that he don't speak english kind of makes matters even worse.
Also after i've spend over 10k in that shop they still screwed me over on several occasions, since the last time they screwed me over i haven't gone there in almost a year. If you order something from them you always got to come and check up on your stuff yourself, because they would never call you or anything not even when your car is done. Very bad business and i wish the original owner Ortiz would stop hiding from me...my nuckles are very itchy for that bastard.
If i was still buying any rotary stuff i would go to Racing Mania instead, i know the guy doesn't seem too nice also but i think it's better than those Ortiz speedshop dumb asses.

kehoe the party sounds like a great idea, PM me sometime. and 12abridgeport,i have never had a problem with ortiz speed shop and they always hook me up with cheap prices. i have gotten to know the new owner "cano" and he always seems to help me out when i have a problem like letting me borrow parts to make sure they'll fit b4 buying them and stuff. i have boughten over $5,000 worth of stuff since cano has been there. now the previous owner did suck, i never like him. racing mania, shoeshine is the biggest dueche ever. he doesnt know anything........! haha he's so stupid i went in there with my turbo and he insisted my turbo was a truck turbo and that it wouldnt work. then i bought an exhaust manifold that he swore would work for $250 and it didnt at all. turbo didnt clear the intake manifold, waste gate flange TOUCHED THE TRANNY! i went in there to get my money back and he wouldnt, i flip on him basically and he gave my money back, that *******

As far as prices, i would have to agree that they do have some good prices on most of their stuff...which is pretty much the only reason i kept on coming there for so long and kept on giving them too many second chances, but enough is enough.
They've built a whole turbo setup for my '91 before, with a hi-flo 60-1 TO4 and could never, and i repeat NEVER get that **** to run, Ortiz even blew my rotor o-ring seal while trying to tune and of course i had to pay them to pop the motor open. Also they could never get my nitrous working on that same car before i went turbo, i've even blew an apex seal trying out the nitrous right after they tuned it up so to speak.
That plus a LOT of other stuff and the fact that Ortiz STOLE some 12a steel single piece apex seals from me when he sold the business and everyone in the shop was trying to cover for him, all that did it for me to not go back to that place again. I don't know maybe it's just because i'm not Puerto Rican...i don't know...i tried to be as nice and as polite with them as i could and never really made a big deal out of anything when they screwed up.

Airflow is my life
Back to topic. I know some guys in Gainesville who rent the local roundy round on the occasional Sunday to go out and play on. Anyone wanna contact speedworld to get a rate? It can be run in a configuration other than an oval. I know the ITMO guys in Gainesville run it like a small road course.

Have you started to meet yet? Are there FB's in the group?
BTW, Cano at Ortiz has been great with my SE; they diagnosed a problem that stumped Classic Mazda for a month, which actually may not be saying very much since Classic doesn't have a clue.

You guys need to come to New Smyrna sometime and show all these little I wanna be a racer ricers up man. They all laugh at me and **** but idon't street race so when I say no I'm not racing they laugh even harder and think my cars shittier and that I'm scared. I need some rotaries in my town, I feel all alone. I want all the kiddies around here to feel scared when they see rx7s coming towards them. www.cardomain.com/id/mazdagslse I don't want to sound conceded, but she hauls *** and I could destroy a lot of ricers in my town, but let me say this, I hate kids with nitruous, too many amateurs in this town and too much nitruous.
