Engine/Transmission mounts on '84
I need input on where to look for the engine & transmission mounts. To cure a vibration problem the source of which is still undetermined I need to check both of these to be able to rule them out as sources but have limited knowledge and time.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Only one transmission mount and that is underneath the transmission, it is the crossbeam. Mines toast and really needs to be replaced. It's so bad that I can lift the transmission off of it
Only two engine mounts, they're up front between the crossbeam that mounts on the front of the engine and the suspension beam underneath.
Oh, and that is for a GSL. Not sure if the GSL-SE was any different.

GSL-SE is exactly the same - same front and rear mounts, just that the front cross-beam is offset differently to account for the longer engine and the mounts are slightly more outboard than the 12a engine mount.
Some folks slot their 12a engine mount bracket to get this to work with a 13b. Others opt to find the correct 13b engine bracket. HTH,
