Car revs fine if i ease in throttle but if i mash it it stutters then goes
the car aslo feels like it doesnt put out power once it gets to 5600 RPM but up untill that it feels good
any suggestions? BTW i just bought the car and havent checked plugs or anything like that
and whats a good clutch for this car planning on putting Holly or webber carb on with RB exhaust.
Thanks for the help!

Yeah, shutup kid.
Do a normal tune up first, dizzy cap, rotor, plug wires, fuel filter, and ONLY USE NGK SPARKPLUGS.
If that doesn't clear it up, then make sure the secondaries on the carb are working right. If they aren't, then convert them to mechanical and adjust the accelerator pump. Check to make sure you are getting spark on all 4 plugs too. If that doesn't clear it up, then time to rebuild the carb, or get one from Sterling & Carl.
Call RacingBeat or MazdaTrix and ask them which clutch they would use for a car with your mods. They sell good clutches. www.southbendclutch.com also has clutches, but wether they are good or not is still being determined. I have their clutch, but the pressure plate was sprung too light, and I had an oil leak that constantly leaks oil onto the disk. It will all be fixed within a month and I'll be able to test their clutch.
