While waiting for my new intake mani and carb, im going to pull the engine and paint her. We have a hoist, and...yah... is there anything specific about pulling an AUTO tranny engine? Also, all the pics the engine is dual colored, can i just paint it all black? What paint do you reccomend?

 

I just painted this baby red. Use a decent heat resistant paint, and you won't have any problems. Maybe brake-caliper paint might work aswell. That stuff is very though, due to having to deal with hot brakes, brake fluids and dust.
Black should be easy to find. Other colors are a bit harder. In the local shops overhere there was only one red available, and as you can see it's a bit to orange and dull.
There are some intresting paints available though, especially in the USA.
