I'm going to be picking up an SA22C this week. When I was checking out the car, I know usually when you're looking at the motor from the left side it would say "Mazda" and then to the right of that "12A or 13B". This motor I noticed just says "Mazda" twice. My mechanic was mentioning something how it might be a different B series motor? Or something of the sort. Anyone know about this?

 

It could be a '74-'75 engine. Look further on top of the rotor housing.
