End/Intermediate Plates...How Durable Are They?

Ok, I have an old 12A that only had 80K miles on it that I pulled out of a car cause it was frozen up. Anyway, I tore into it with the hopes of rebuilding the engine and porting etc...Well I found out it has two bad rotor housings (MASSIVE flaking), and at least one bad rotor (havent looked at the other one yet). Anyway, Im trying to figure out what Im gonna need to "collect" to make a new engine again. The end and intermediate plates...What can make them "non-reusable"? I figure that mine are fine as long as theyre not warped, I could just have them resurfaced or whatever thats called, right? Then Im gonna port them myself. Also, the eccentric shaft...How can I find out if this is good? It looks fine to me, no wear marks and stuff (looks new), but should I check for wear in certain places or anything? Measure anything? Any help would be great...Thanks .

the plated need to be lathed.
e-shaft should be good, remove the oil jet thing and clean it..
warning putting a rotary back together is much harder than taking it apart. ask me

yes, definitely have the side housings lapped. obviously, you'll need to get rotor housings. does the e-shaft have any burn marks on it? if i were you, i'd check it out thoroughly. it may even be worth doing the jet modification on it.

what i'm more concerned about is the reason why the motor locked up in the first place ... was it an oil problem? did the rotor gears start to move? what? these are quesions you should answer and address before reusing any parts and definitely before re-assembly.

It was babied and it carbon locked while sitting for a few years or something...I just know it was REALLY carbon locked and wouldnt loosen up till it was torn down to the block.
