Emissions, Pour Coolant In The Carb?

Ok this car needs to get through emissions now. I have read about some weird and unusual carbon cleaning tips such as pouring rubbing alchol in the gas tank, coolant in the engine etc. Anyone done these as a way to help get through emissions?

I've heard $100 secretly slipped to the emissions test guy helps.

Thank god I don't have emissions testing in Northern Arizona. I would set all of their equipment on fire.

That must be nice not having to worry about smog and ****. But $100 won't get you anything, it's usually around $150-200.

Oh it's not rubbing alcohol, it's denatured alcohol. You can get that stuff at Home Depot. It usually knocks off a couple hundred HC's.

Denatured Alcohol works great!!! Also, make sure the engine is good and hot before you get it tested. The Cat works best when hot.

"Coolant" can't be right (can it?). I think the guy must have meant "gas antifreeze", which is basically methanol.
