Question electronic ignition???

do they have an electric ignition conversion for the 12a????? i want to be able to tune it when i switch from gasoline to propane but i rather have electric ignition timming that i can change. thanks

yeah but its different, although electric ignition, it has a little more complicated igntion box etc.

The only difference in the electronic ignition between the 80 and 81-85 is that the ignitors are mounted separately, away from the distributor (driver side strut tower). They work in the same fashion with the same cap and rotor and wiring.

The electronic ignition being included on the 80's was a vast step in the right direction, as the points-and-condensor system of the '79 had to be replaced just about every year to get good emissions and performance out of it. HTH,
