Electrical question

i have a 81 rx-7 and my blinkers and none of my gauges in my dash cluster work, i was wondering if this could be bad wiring or bad fuses, where would i start to solve this problem?

Pull the fuses and look for blown ones, in particular, the meter fuse.

thanks, atleast thats somewhere to start, electrical has never been my strong point
