electrical problem

Ok I know my cluster panal is messed up but whenever I turn my turn signals on my batt gauge will go up and down, and because my coolant level sensor is broken I have the "Add Coolant" light on while that will fade in and out aswell

I checked all the grounds under the hood, oh btw, while i was running the car, I took the negtive side off the battery and I heard loud clicking, also my car sounded like it was going to die, is this a sign of a bad alternator??

About how much does your voltage gauge change with the signals? In my experience, this is usually either a symptom of insufficient grounds, dying alternator, or an incorrectly wired voltage regulator. If it doesn't move much, you shouldn't worry about it.
