Electrical Prob - Voltage Drops

New thing happened to me yesterday ... was cruising around and all of a sudden i notice that my heat went all the way up and my voltage just dropped ... I stoppped to let the car cool down and then try to go again ... samething happened just drove for about 30 seconds and its back up high ... i knew something was wrong. Now the whole voltage drop seems eratic ... if i go over a big up it'll go back up or if I do circles to the Left only the voltage rises again. By drop i mean it goes down to around 10 volts and stays around there when driving with the lights on. The other strange thing is that when that I trun left in circles and the voltage rises back to about 13volts where it should be, the temperatur drops back to normal. What do you guys think would be the cause of this?

Is the battery tied down securely, the cables clean and tight, the belts tensioned properly, the alt bolts secure and the power wire from the alt tight?

perhaps there was a loose wire and it was making contact when you turned a certain direction...
