I am in the process of changing my j-109s to GM HEI modules. While looking the wires over trying to understand everything, I noticed a lot of worn out electrical stuff over by the coils. Curious to see if i cold clean it up some, I started tracing back wires to see where they all go. Some of this doesn't make any sense! what are these small boxes with 2 wires each on them? relays or somthing? and the long yellow thing.. wtf? A wire comes off the positive lead of the leading coil, goes through the boxes and then into the negative lead of both coils! That doesnt even make any sense. Can I rip all this crap out or not?
