Electric Hatch Release Conversion
I know it's ready to hook up in the hatch, but i can't find anything in the dash.
Am I not looking hard enough? There is one loose connector with same wire colors but it's short and the wrong sex. at least to the switch I have, btw it's an 82, i think the switch is from an 81.
Thanks
Joe

According to the VB catalog, the hatch release switch is the same from 81-83. (Rocker type) However, parts books have been known to be wrong on more than one occasion.

Looks like it should be a female "T" connector with blue/red on the top and green/red on the bottom.

the connector on the switch I have is a female with the same wire colors, I need to get off my *** and meter the wires, but the wire in the car isn't nearly long enough to get to the switch.
Thanks for the help guys.
