electric fan question

I've noticed in different threads that some people use
fiero electric fans when they upgrade.
My question is, What year fits correctly?
I've searched for this often but I never saw anyone
actually say a year.

Your help is much appreciated.

and also as I have been checking, the electric fan is different if it has air conditioning. So which one fits better (or at all) the one that had air or the one that
didn't.

I have been doing some electric fan research my selfe and found this to be most interesting...

http://rx7.voodoobox.net/howto/efan/efan.html

Give it a read, you may rething your fan choice. I have also read that the Ferio fan is a poor choice. Due to the great amount of heat produced by a Rotory the four cylinder fans are NOT a good choice. A fan from a V6 or V8 is a better choice. Alot of guys use Ford Torus fans or V6 probe fans.

Good luck

The year doesnt matter so much as teh fan motor depth.

Just go to the junk yard, and lift the hoods of all the cars. WHen you find a fan where the motor is relatively flush with the rest of the shroud, and it doesnt stick too far out from the radiator, you have a winner :-)
