Electric Choke??

So what do the wires control or sense that are coming out of the choke module? I thought i had a manual choke.

You do have a semi manual choke. When the water temp get to operating temp, a switch in the back of the water pump housing opens. The wires on you choke module are nothing more than an electromagnet. Thats what holds it out. When the afforementioned switch opens, it opens the circut to the electromagnet which then becomes de-energized, allowing the choke **** to pull back in automatically.
