better airflow... most likely more backfire. I have a similar manifold sitting in my floor right now. I already have the butterfly d/c on the manifold on the car, may as well take it out completely, i just don't have the gasket for manifold to engine..

Backfire........hmmm. Well, I sure as heck don't want that! My seven is loud enough as it is!

Now, go to your local Mazda dealer and get that gasket right now!
