Ebay big brake kit GONE?

For a while on ebay there was a listing for a big brake kit for the fb. A copy of the respeed kit but with better press on bearings I think. The listing was up for a long time, today i go looking for it and i can't find it. Anyone know who was making it? Would like to buy a set but worried the guy stopped selling/making them altogether

Would post in the classified section, but this section probably gets more traffic. If you're around please let me get a set. kicking myself for not buying a long time ago. Kit looked quality with everything included and a helpful guide on the listing page. Bought the fc calipers a few months ago, never thought the listing would be taken down.

Did anyone buy this kit? I have an old scca gt3 spec turned solo 2 car that could really benefit from the fc calipers. If i can't source the kit maybe someone with the relocation brackets could measure some dimensions so i could make some?

yeah he made a post on here a while back saying he was getting out of it, and there was one or 2 left on ebay but he would compensate for anyone on here who wanted one and was ready to pay NOW (then, obviously). hopefully the guys above will still be able to put it together for you, but I remember seeing his post on here saying he was done as there wasn't enough demand to make it worth it

Any clue what his name was? Or what section of the forum i could find that thread in? I search big brake kit and all sorts of variants, but didn't have any luck. Maybe he will see this post and has one left!

And thanks aeenox, i will give those guys a shot if the ebay dude is out. I'd like to support the littlest guy first if possible ya know?

EDIT
Figured out how to use the search feature better lol. Looks like i'm not even close to the first thread made about this kit. The guys name on ebay is hounder_ville and does not currently have any listing active. I sent a message, hoping i'll get a reply.

I nearly created my own, before realizing the FC swap was better for my goals. I ended up creating a new big brake upgrade for the FC IFS. One that fits inside 15" wheels. But if you really need to avoid the swap, check my build thread for the first set of rotors I planned to use. That'll give you a good starting point.
Edit: "10.86" x 25 mm front rotors for a '90 Audi Coupe Quattro, they're 4 lug on 108.2 mm"
They have some for $7 each, too cheap to not try. Here's the specs and pics: More Information for WAGNER BD61988
Too bad you're so set on those weak calipers, they would require both turning the rotors down to their discard thickness, and grinding the new pads before installation. Better to sell them and get some calipers that can handle the 25 mm rotors. I think some Nissan 300ZXs used an aluminum 4-piston caliper that could take a 26 mm rotor, if so then those would be ideal. Edit: Yep, 1990 non-turbo used such a caliper. Find a pair.
Front Calipers:

(Numbers listed as RH caliper / LH caliper respectively)

41001-30P00 / 41011-30P00 Manufacture date 2/89 – 7/90 (N/A Aluminum 26mm)
Caliper adapter brackets are not difficult, but for fixed calipers they are easier because they don't need to be rigid on 2 planes, only one. So floating calipers are not the first choice for any big brake conversion, except rears that include a parking brake mechanism for street legality. Those are far better than tiny internal drums inside disc rotor hats. But they're also rear-only, so you can run multi-piston fixed calipers up front for better braking.
Then just use pads for a '90 300ZX non-turbo.

Overpriced, forces 5 lug, doesn't specify what calipers, no rotor specs. But if you want a 5 lugs in a bolt-together kit, then do it. My way can be done fo under 200

You can do 4 lug with this kit. All the parts are second gen. It's a good option for those that want a plug and play kit and don't have fab skills.

Fab skills? If you can operate a pencil, read a tape measure, operate a drill, and run a jigsaw then you have all the skills it takes.
FC turbo brakes might have a similar rotor diameter to what I propose, but in every other way they fall short, at twice the price. If that's your thing, do it, but at that point you could do the FC IFS swap correctly, for cheaper, as I did. Then you get power rack&pinion steering.

Do you have a build thread on how to do this? Would be nice to share with the community.

Are all the calipers the same for the FC? It says just obtain FC calipers. Same thing with the rotors.

My question is why do you have to muck with the rear at all? Bigger calipers I get it; larger braking surface yada yada. But for regular joes who aren't road racing the drums are fine.

I have to agree. sure bigger brakes would be nice, at least up front. but if it's not a track specific car, no need IMO.
my drums do fine in my 85 and with the big axles I put a SE pumpkin in my rear so I have 4.1 lsd with my drums. much easier than swapping a whole rear end. I know most people do rear swaps just for the lsd

he (Mark) has a thread on here in another section about it and on the First Gen Rx7 facebook page.

I bought just the fronts

FYI these WILL work with the T3 coilovers however you have to cut a support bracket for the top bolt of the caliper that bolts into the backing plate. it's not too bad, i'll see if i can get a pic uploaded.. i just finished installing this front kit yesterday
