Easy Q: What is Rotor/Cylinder #1?

My brother towed his 1980 RX-7 over we started to try an get it to run. All the wires were off and he doesn't remember which one is rotor #1. I know the Leading vs Trailing and Coils, but I can't find anywhere what set of plugs the wires should go to.

So, is rotor #1 at the front or back?

Forward coil - Trailing wires
Rear coil - Leading wires.
Distributer has 1T / 1L - 2T / 2L indicators, I'm not sure were to put set 1 vs 2.

Thanks in advance.

Rotor 1 is the front rotor. Rotor 2 is the back rotor. Leading plug hole is the bottom, and trailing is at the top.

Forward coil- trailing wires, aft coil- leading wires

If you've got a stock distributor cap or quality replacement, it doesn't get any easier...T1 is trailing one, L1 is leading one, etc...
