Early carbed RX-7 fuel pump install?

I want to install a fuel pump from a late eighties carburated RX-7 into my 71 240Z. I have two of these low pressure (4psi) pumps. They have a fitting that
comes directly out of the body and another that comes out perpendicular. There are also two wire leads, one black and one black/white. Could someone tell me which fittings are in and out. Also, can someone tell me which lead is positive and negative? Thanks in advance!

You'll have more luck in the 1st gen section. Moving over there...

IF it's a stock replacement pump then the black-with-white is positive, and black solid is ground/negative.

As for the in-out, I'm not sure but I believe that the one that comes directly out is the output.. but don't quote me on that, I'm running an aftermarket fuel pump now.
