E fan Question

Will the Flex-lite Black Magic 150 fit with a 13b swapped into an '81. I have the 12A radiator (although now three row). Anybody ?

You want a fan that will push 1800+ cfm.

Noticed you said "pushed". So one will/can be mounted in front of the radiator ? Just move the a/c dryer (dessicant can) out of the way ? Nice. Thanks

Ok, one that will move 1800 cfm. Rear mounting gives the best flow. Most of the aftermarket ones can be setup as pushers or pullers.

That fan is insane. Its about the biggest, highest CFM fan around and yes,it will fit.

I ran one on my 13B 4 port with a thick 3-core radiator, setup as a puller for abouy 2 years. When I went turbo and slant mounted my new radiator,I needed slimmer fans, so I went with doubles and put the Black Magic fan on my Samurai rock crawler, which really needed the low speed cooling.
Even as a pusher,it does just fine.I busted 4 blades off that fan during a river crossing when I forgot to shut it off....... 2 years later, its still keeping my V-6 cool...even through the hot summer we just had.

I couldnt find any pics,.......I thought this pic was with my elec. fan,but it was taken a little before that. Here, you can see my 13B and thick 79-82 radiator together......theres lots of room.

As Trochoid stated, it's better to run it closer to the motor instead of in front of the radiator. The black magic is an excellent fan and puts out approx 2800 cfm. You can also find the heavy duty fan option on the Fieros, they work quite effectively also.
