dyno...again
some of you might have seen my post last week.
157.4hp @ 7500 rpm. s5tii ex turbo, street port, weber ida, rb exhaust
figured it was a bit light and so decided to rejet.
well, after thinking i had 36 chokes, opened the carb last night to find out they were indeed 38mm ! So then upped the airs from 150 to 160, dropped the main from 200 to 190. changed the plugs as well. Onto the dyno this morning and what do you know ? another 11hp and 5nm of torque. So now its 168rwhp.
a bit more respectable. Maybe I should try 40mm chokes ?

Looking better, keep tuning. The problem with dyno results is they can be subject to variations such as temperature and moisture so the accuracy is at best plus or minus say 5% over time. Thus, it's is important to do your final tuning continuously on the dyno for an accurate comparison. Expensive but worthwhile to get that last bit of power.
