dropping revs and stalling

hey all, i'm reletively knew to this board, but am hoping someone in here can help me. I'm having a problem generally when the car is cold, if I'm driving along, then coming to a stop, when i put the clutch in my revs drop to like 100 or so and leads to a stall. Sometimes it doesn't stall but idles really rough around 300 for a bit then fluctuates for awhile... Once the car has warmed up it doesn't occur so often, but it is something I'd like to fix. Does anyone know what it could be? idle speed control? I dunno, if anyone can help out that would be great, thanks.

[for future reference, it's usually a good idea to specify what car you have =)]

I don't know anything about the SEs, so I'll let somebody else handle it... But for everybody's reference, his profile says he has a GSL-SE.

How long has it been since you had the fuel filter changed? If you don't know, then that is the easiest and cheapest thing to replace. Do that first and see what happens.

Well there are several things you can check such as the BAC valve. Also check your brake booster for any lakes.

Vacuum leaks, and i'm not limiting that to just vacuum lines. Worst case scenerio, a blown seal. Use the search feature, you'll find alot of information about this. Because you have a gsl-se motor, direct your engine problems to the 2nd generation forum if you're having little luck in this forum..

Talking

well i've only had the car a few months so i have no clue about the fuel filter, i'll give that a try. The only problem is, there have been a lot of parts removed from the car and plugged, so it's going to be a matter of testing to see if every hose is properly plugged, and then working from there after. As for the engine, it's only got 20k on it, so I think it should be fine, if not i'll be some mad. Thanks for the help guys, I'll post back when i find out the problem.
