Put some luqid wrench or similar on it, then try using somthing like a screw driver and a hammer. Hit the screwdriver or watever you want to use between the two peices. They are steel shouldn't mess things up very much if at all.

I just did mine on my GSL-SE last weekend. It was hard to get the driveshaft off but a couple of good hits with a 5 pound hammer did the trick. Just good hits on each side.

Put the back-end up on jackstands and turn the wheels to move every side of the flange into position for a good hit with the hammer. Should loosen it up and pop right off. I didn't use the release oil, but it can't hurt.

Good luck.

Rubber mallet and elbow grease gets it off.

To prevent it from sticking in the future, simply put grease on the driveshaft flange before reinstalling it. It'll come off like butter.
