Is there a way to convert the stock prop shaft to make it so that the u-joint can be serviced? I saw that mazdatrix sells a serviceable prop shaft and maybe if we know what is different about theirs, we can fab one of our own.

 

Yes, I did it. Do a search for stacked u-joints. Someone posted the part number but I don't have it.
