Double din Radios in FB's

I'm thinking about getting a double din radio for my 85 Gsl-le. I was wondering who has them in their car and see some pics of them to see what i should buy. thank you

Check out www.crutchfield.com, punch in your car under "What Fits My Car?" and see all the listings that come up. If they have a Double-Din radio, then it's doable. If not, then you'd probably have to fabricate your center console to accommodate one.

I dont have pics but I always had double din radios in my mazdas. It just fits so perfectly!

I am planning on getting a Pioneer Avic DVD unit with Nav. It will fit perfectly flush and may even look stock.

I also have installed double din's in my 7's.. Fit perfect I'll see if I can find some pics.. I would not buy from crutchfiel unless you have a ton of money, there service is top of the line and they sell good stuff, just a little on the pricey side. The pioneer listed above is a great unit has alot of options and you can upgrade it as new equiptment comes up. I usually lean towrad Kenwood, just always been a big fan.. Check ebay, and craigs list for double dins, If you do not mind a slightly used one you can get a good deal on craigslist. You will be looking to spen beetween 300 all the way up to just under 2 gran for the really fancy stuff. I've done alot of research on the double dins.. In my opionin, draw out a system you want, fiqure what you want the head unit to control, and base what you need from there. Alot of radios offer the same options, just read, read, read, the reviews, talk to people. STAY AWAY FROM A DOUBLE DIN THATS NEW AND REALLY CHEAP. there are alot on ebay, I bought an EONON once it was crap. If the ebay page those not lista manufacturer, it's probably one of the cheaper models.
Now this is all my opion, I am not putting down any systems just talking from expiernce...
PEACE

Thats what I have. The ability to change the colors makes it look almost stock at night with the dash lights on. The amber color matches perfectly. I take a pic of night later

Just thought I would pipe in here... That's my car. It's not a Pioneer head unit, it's an Apline IVA-W205. It fits like a glove, but it's important to find the right installer, When I had that put in, it took about 10 hours. But that included speakers, amp, and dynamat (actually it's not dynamat, it's an ultralight competitor, works AWESOME without wieghing down the car) I colour-matched the tweeters red as well. I have a spray bomb that matched the silver grey of the trim, I'm going to paint that one black piece under the unit to make it match.

It was right aroung a grand... package deal with the amp and speakers though. I think the MSRP is about $1100.
