Dot Approved Brake Lines

RB sells SS brake lines but they are not DOT approved. What does that mean in comparison to ones that would be. This would be going on an every day driver car.

Try mazdatrix or VB, they both have DOT approved lines.

I believe that the difference between DOT and non-DOT is the style of connectors as well as the DOT lines have a coating over the stainless braid to prevent dirt getting in the braid and wearing on the inner line. I personally would go for the DOT ones.

i think that by them saying they arent dot approved means they didnt wanna pay to have Dot approve them, and also dont wanna take blame if they break and you die. I could be wrong thou
