door questions

ok...I have used search and I need some help please.

I have a 1980 RX7 and need new doors. I know of the differences between the series I and series II with regards to the suspension, front end, brakes, and rear tails but what about doors? I NEED two new doors for my RX7 in a bad way. Are the shells the same from the Series I and Series II. I know the mirrors and interior door panel will be different but what about the shell? Will it bolt up and the crease be the same?

for the tail lights, series 2 and 3 are the same, and series one is different.

If you can't find anything closer than me in WA, I've got a passenger door in pretty good shape (only problem is the window frame has surface rust) and a driver side door that could use a little work on the front edge.

Let me know,
Brian

I have two doors from my 85 donor car that are in good shape. Hmm...I'm going to be in Nashville today.

If you bring your X7 to Nashville, I sure hope to spot it! I've been here over 2 months and haven't seen a single 1st gen (besides mine, that is).

hey RRTEC what other parts do you have? I could use some minor things (storage bin hinges, conecting pins for the sealing... heck, even rearview mirrors, mine are a bit rusted)

I wish I were driving it but I will be in my Maxima today. Sending the girlfriend's daughter to the airport to go see her dad.

I won't be using the power mirrors on either of my donor doors.

Boy, Mazda sure did skimp on the storage bin, console and glove box hinges didn't they?

Yeah I've been using duct tape for hinges.
If the mirrors are rust-free, how much do you want for them?

You need passenger and driver's side power mirrors? How hard are they to remove?

I need the doors but I don't need the mirrors because I am using my 1980 mirrors.

I don't know how much this stuff is worth. Make a reasonable offer and I will probably take it. They are rust free. I can provide you with pics this weekend.
