Does anyone know if interior door panels from a 1985 will fit a 1980?

 

Im not exactly sure, but my guess is that they would. When my dad took his 79 apart, i looked at his door panels, and they looked like they would line up right with my 85's panels. Though you might want someone's word who actually tried the swap.

 

Armrests on later cars have more bolts holding them. But other than that dont see why not...

I just wish I could find some nice '80 door panels. The first owner of my car decided he wanted power windows, so he got the bolt on JC Whitney style crap. I took them off, but am left with the holes in the panels where the mounting hardware went through....

I have been watching for a while with no success. Between that and the center piece in the dash where the radio, ac, and switches go; I don't know which is more difficult to find. Silly silver dash pieces.

 

just get your door re-apolstered.
