Door panel ripped up-any tips on a fix?

My door panels on my 1982 are all tore up. I doubt I can find good ones from a junk yard. Any ideas on how to fix em myself? Or should i send them out?

Take the door panel off and dissasemble it. Once you do that, it is obvious how easy it is to redo them.

Spray painted to match so I didn't have to have red panels w/ black interior all summer.

You can get cotton-backed vinyl at any fabric store - trim it to go over the upper and tuck behind the center panel that's clipped onto the middle of the door panel, then scrape off the old vinyl and glue the new stuff on by spraying on 3M high-temp adhesive, waiting a few seconds so it gets semi-dry and 'tacky', and stick the new stuff on being sure to overlap a bit up and over the lip.

I'd also recommend a bit of duct tape on the 'back' of the panel to hold down tha overlapped lip until the adhesive sets, keeping the vinyl nice and tight to the cardboard (I did this with my first ReX and it ended up looking almost factory) Best part is that because the duct tape ends up between cardboard and door it's never seen and can be left on, even adding a bit of moisture protection for the cardboard in case the plastic liner was torn during previous window or lock repairs
