Eric, if your trying to get the inside door handle off ?
If your answer is yes, there is a spring wire C clip that fits to the inside of the door handle which you need to snag with a bent piece of wire & pull the C clip out of the handle & the handle will pull off. At the start push the door panel inward so that you can see which part of the C clip you need to pull on.
Pull clip this way < C < (C clip)

if you are talking about getting the rod off the outside door handle, then look at your inside one(with the door panel off) like David said and that plastic piece will flip off the rod and the rod will pull out. then just take off the two 10mm bolts and the handle will come right out

So to reinstall the door handle, you'd thread the clip around the rod while it's in the doorpanel, then attach it to the actual handle, then bolt it all back together? I tried to replace my handle today and it was annoying and I think I ended up just breaking the clip (but not the new door handle, thankfully.)
