There is a centering feature (see the photo). If memory serves, the outer one is to center the brake disc, and the inner one is for the wheel.

Same deal with our FCs: no 4 bolt wheels with smaller brakes, even the NA models got the same brakes as the TII.
You see, that's what is almost unbelievable to me living here in the US. The ratio of GSL-SE's with the bigger brakes, to the S, GS, and GSL trim level cars with the smaller brakes is astounding. A conservative estimate would be that 75% of our cars have smaller brakes than the 4x114.3 equipped SE's (simple math says 4 trim levels, equal production, only 1 had big brakes, therefore 3/4 [75%] of the cars we have don't have the larger brakes). That 75% estimate is giving quite a healthy overshoot for the number of GSL-SE's that were actually sold here in my opinion as well, you have to consider that every RX-7 sold here was 4x110 until 1983. That means that from 1979 - 1983 there were 10's of thousands of cars brought here with smaller brakes. And the best estimate would be the 25% having larger brakes on the SE's for just two years, 84 - 85.

I say all of that to prove a point, finding SE calipers here is almost impossible. I have SE brakes that I had to re-manufacture at home and one of my rear pistons is pitted which will eventually eat up the new seal I put back there. It would be much easier for me to just swap to FC rear brakes and be done with the SE caliper that will leak in the near future. It truly does suck. I'm probably going to have to go to a big brake kit for my car just due to the rarity of SE parts here.

Hi KanasCityREPU saw that you had these documents and just got what remains of a front bb kit to use t2 brakes on the FB - I was wondering if you could share your library with me - shot a friend request to PM.
