Im new to the online stuff. I dont see to many rex owners in my town so i was wondering what people thought of her. Too rice? Any feedback is much appriciated positive or negative or whatever. Actually, Kyle. I take back my statement I sent you in that email.

Your moulded rear bumper looks really good. Just get yourself a front airdam and it'll complete the car.

I would paint the center section behind your license plate white to match the car, and then tint the taillights black along with the lenses, and still I say you should paint those wheels black.

 

Does look like some kind of honda wing not sure freind gave it to me. I really want a mariah kit. Usuall StreetPort racingbeat intake holley 550 avenger headers you know. I got MSD but wasnt sure to hook it up or go with dfli?

 

Interesting rear bumper treatment, I like the wing its not too much at all, can't see the scoop very clearly but it looks nice and subtle. Nice roll on the fender lips for the observant.

 

Yeah, its been a low down secrect that stock honda civic wings will fit our cars. All you need to do is cut a hole for the ant.

Thanks Tranquil, The scoop is functonal its done pretty well but my pictures suck. I also have a weber 45 dcoe with wrap around kit im not sure which carb to go with any suggestions?

 

It depends on how you drive and what sort of powerband you want. If you dig the holley you got on there now, then you can always sell your weber for something else.

Personally I went with a Sterling carb for a lot of reasons. It was readily available for me, bolt on and go, and offers great tunability.

 

webers rock IMHO, I currently run a Mikuni sidedraft.

The elimination of the rear bumper is svaing you about 40lbs if the replacement isn't too heavy.

 

thanks for the carb input alex and aussie. Usually i drive pretty chill unless somebodys messing with me, got this carb early last summer put in some 51primarys runs smoother but i hear they can be alot bigger 59+. Mikuni nice, yeah the bumper is thin metal tach welded with bondo to clean it up a little

I wouldn't take the center off, I would paint it to match. Taking it off shows some ugly metal, in my opinion.

 

I do like that rear end, but wonder how much parachute effect it has, I would vent it to stop it catching air, but I'm nuts about performance.....lol

 

It doesn't look like it drags its *** as much as the 5.0 bumper Jimmy was running on his old Blue FB. So parachuting isn't that much, I wouldn't think.

Although a vent idea wouldn't be harmful.
