Do people slam your doors?
yeah I'd have to say when someone thats riding in my car does anything disrespectful I get ticked. Luckily no one really ever rides in my 7 because it's only a 2 seater, but when they do it's people I love and care about so if I have to replace probably a $50 part when it falls off it's hinge from being shut too hard I'll just suck it up and replace it.
I don't have this problem in my Jeep because there is usually no doors on it

Kinda off-topic, but the thing that bugs me about the doors is their tendency to swing back closed without stopping on the little notches. Maybe it's just that my door notch thingy is worn, but I really hate opening the door to get out, and having it shut on me when I've halfway extracted myself. Also, there's a huge gap between the middle notch and the last notch, so to have the door open a comfortable distance means I need a lot of room in the parking spot. I'm probably just bitchy, though.
probably
funny story: I was driving my '84, friend is with me. For some reason he had the door open as we're driving along. I'm an idiot , so I SLAM on the brakes. . .
He tells me, "Man, it's a good thing I was holding onto this door or else it would folded" looking at me like I was a dumbass. He's right, I was a dumbass.
Most of my buddies know better than to slam the door.

I hate it, ppl seem to slam the door on every car I have, at least w/ my GF I close the door for her, so it is always shut nice and easy. But it makes me cringe to hear it slammed.
might as well add to the ressurection. the door slamming gets me too, but what i noticed with a couple guys i gave a lift to work was this...
they didnt slam the doors
they even figured out how to hold the handle up an close the door to lock it "after a few months"
but one guy was so impressed with his new found skill that he would close the door nice an gentle with the door handle up... everything perfect.... and then, just as you are ready to applaud his incredible acumen, he lifts up a lil extra on the doorhandle an lets it snap down
least it wasnt hard to replace, and my car handles better without a passenger anyway (no pun intended)

Bring out yer dead!

I've had to let off a little recently about the passenger door because all the door-slamming of the past has made it so that the door does not shut properly with the small amount of force that I use on the driver's door... so in other words, if you don't know my car intimately you'll either end up half-shutting the door, or slamming it, there doesn't seem to be a middle ground.
I'm sure it's just a hinge and adjustment thing, but it's such a bugger to get that front fender off to get in there, and you almost need three people to align the damn thing properly.. I'll have the body shop guys take a look at it when it goes in for paint.
And assuming I replace the seals and get it shutting properly, slammers will be prosecuted in the worst way possible.. once I figure out what that way is.
