Do I need my Sub Zero Assist?

I was looking into the engine bay and noticed that my vaccum line to the cruse control was off. So I decided to take the whole thing out and out of the way. Then I said, "hey do I need this sub zero assist if it's just a summer car?". I still has some fluid in it, but do i need it?

P.S. do I need to plug up the lines that leed in?

Thanks

John

I took mine out a long time ago and just caped off the spot on the carb that the line goes to. Haven't had any problem yet. It has been about a year.

Mines been out for 3 winters now (cold ones too) and no problems. Just cap the fitting on the carb with a vaccum cap and your set. Get rid of the hot start assist (driver side strut tower) thats useless too.
