Question do i need this ?

the circled thing... im assuming thats the vacume for the secondaries but if i go machanicle do i still need this ?

i don't recommend mechanical secondaries, it just kills your gas mileage. when your flooring it, secondaries are always open, and when your taking it easy, you dont want them to open because itll just burn gas.

I think that is for your secondaries though

You can remove it, you will just have to fill the hole that it uses for a signal. I think you can tap it and just use one of the screws that held it on, to plug the hole.

meh gas doesnt matter. and i figured out a way that the secondarys only start to open when the primarys are 3/4 of the way open

If you have a good solid spring on the secondaries, you can feel when they are starting to open and you can regulate how hard you push on the pedal... I love Mech Secondaries... Then again, I'm a control freak. I want to have control of my tranny, my carby, everything...

It is easier to burn gas with the mech secondaries, but you have NO DELAY, and it's SO much more fun!!!

haha agreed, my mechanicle secondaries were rusted shut damn good thing i decided to play with the carb, haha my girlfriend took it off for me shes like here make this clean haha
