DLIDFIS SE install pics WITH AC
Just thought I'd share pics of my DLIDFIS setup (three stock ignitors and diamond coils)I installed on my Se over the summer retaining the AC. When I went to do it, I searched all around and all the info. I could find was without the AC, so I had a heck of a time finding the space. Everyone here has been really helpful, so feel free to inquire about anything if you have any questions. BTW, I didn't drill any new holes, the coil mounting plate was just a rectacle of aluminum I drilled two large holes for the coils in and two small holes for the mounting bolts on the side of the "strut tower bulge" and bent at an angle until the coils fit horizontaly beside the brake reservoir and under the simple ignitor plate I made. Hope this is helpful to someone!

It took me forever to get the pictures small enough to upload to the sight! I only have those two pictures (I took them over the summer, but never had an internet connection until very recently) and my car is currently in winter lockdown at my parents about two hours away. I will take some more pics next time I go up to pump my pedals and turn the engine over(probably pretty soon). I tried all image editing programs I have on my computer, the only way I could get the files smaller was using microsoft paint and manually changing size of the image. I will make those two pics larger and post tonight when I get home from work. BTW, I can't say for sure how it helped gas mileage because I usually never ever drive with mpg in mind...Too busy enjoying the hell of it. But it did absolutely cure my decelleration backfires and rough idle problems and raw fuel smell when idling!
