dizzy question

Ok this is probly a dumb question.........but if I take off the vac. line going to the dizzy how hard should it be to open the advance.........I mean how hard should it be if I was to suck on the vacume line........should it open all the way or jusst a little............????

Open? You need to cap the lines at the Rat's Nest if you run the dizzy without vacuum advance.

i believe hes asking how much vacuum would be required to pull the vac advance. i have no idea, but you could go suck on it and let us know

I did away with the rats nest..........I was trying to see if the advance was stuck............I don't thing it is....I was wondering.........shouldn't the advance line be above the black throtle plate????????
