Disc rear end w/ drum brake proportioning valve?

Disc rear end w/ drum brake proportioning valve?

Ok, So Im getting real tired of the GS' open diff. I would really like to put in my GSL rear end, but the problem is I am missing one key componant, the GSL prop. valve.

Does anyone know how big the differences are between the two? I assume they cant be much different, so I dunno what to do.

I have already posted in the canadian classifieds with no luck, but if anyone has an 85 GSL proportioning valve kickin around and will ship it to me let me know!

I kept my non-GSL proportioning valve when I converted my 84 GS to disc brakes with 4.44 gear. I have no braking problem or issues.

EXCELENT!!!!

I will go ahead with the LSD/DISC rear asap...



Wacky, this one has 4.88s and mazda racing oversize clutch discs/thrust washers in the LSD!!! take that! lol

thats OK, I have more: 2 sets of 4.44, 75 RX-3 has 4.78 while the 73 has 4.88. Now, the problem is I cant figure out which one will get the T70 with 3.70 gears. 84 or the 73.

Both my FB's are non GSL cars, and both have GSL rears and I didn't switch prop valves, so it works fine, dont worry

Last time I checked, I believe they are the same part number. The only difference was the master cylinder with the checkvalve. Regardless, it's no big deal.

Haha, somehow I knew you could easily top my built rear end but I had to gloat anyway lol. I can only hope that one day my pile-o-parts rivals yours...

Damn.....T70...
BTW, what did the 3.70s come from?

Awesome, the GS brake master was on the way out so I replaced it with a master for a GSL because I knew that the diff was on the way....Looks like im set to go!
