Should I use a mazda limited slip additive? I know on some cars you need to use make specific additive.

Yes, if you have a LSD rearend. Otherwise, any 90 weight is fine.

i need to do this as well in a few days.... would redline work just as well as the Mazda addative?

Redline MTL for LSD's is the best... MT-90 for non LSD rears...

Better than Mazda...
