ok, i re-did my pass. side harness. i cut every thing out but:
the two to the water temp
the two to the alternator
the one that plugs into a diode by the tranny
the two yellows that go behind the beehive
and the two blacks that go two the oil pan.

did i cut something out that would make the fuel pump not work?
worked fine before i did it, now needle on the fpr stays at zero when cranked?

 

ps. 84gs, rb dell, no emissions, no ac, holley red, holley fpr

 

well i just tried jumping the relay and it works perfect now? whats under the hood that effects the relay?

 

is taking out the wires on the harness necessary?

 

the harness wires are all i touched. got them all cleaned up and MAJOR reduced in size and apprence. didn't think anything had to do with the fuel pump relay though?

 

you can see the zippo in relivance to how big the harness is now!
