Decarbonizing and general cleaning of engine
I read a post somewhere here, searched many combinations.
It has a progressive listing of suggested solutions for cleaning the inside of a disassembled rotary.
(I don't have a dip tank, just a family garage, and physical effort is anticipated.)
Thanks for any suggestions.

i like to take a razor and scrape most of the carbon off the rotors, and some of the big gooey blobs off the outside.
then its simple green/whatever and some elbow grease, oh using a brush.
the seal grooves get cleaned with an old seal

I don't have old seals unless I plan on replacing them. The oil O-rings seem to be the primary cause. Is it advisable to replace all the seals?
(This is an Atkins rebuilt with 30K on it. I have a broken lower-rear dowel pin. No known cause except perhaps defective part to begin with and fatigue.)
What I've been cleaning all the external components with is a diluted solution of Dawn dishwashing liquid.
