Dash Swap But Extra Connector Left Over

Hey guys,

I swapped in a blue dash on the GSL-SE i have. I think i got everything connected but i ended up with an extra connector it looks like. It is a rectangle 16 prong with a space in the middle. (8 on each side, 4 on top of 4 on each side) I thought it was for the ECU since i now have a carb but after looking at the ECU i did not see the same configuration for the plug to connect into. It still could be for the ECU and just go to something else on the ECU plate and not the ECU directly. I should have taken a picture i know. Interesting thing about this plug is there is another wire harness that connects to a black relay. These two harnesses are kind of together (the one i don't know what is for and the one that connects to a black relay). Any thoughts on what this lost connector could be?

Thanks

I took some pics. The relay is for the fuel pump, dunno about the connector though.

I verified that the relay is for the fuel pump by wire colors but cannot find that other plug. I'll check some other stuff.

Looks like it connects to the wire bundle that runs all the way from the fire wall on the left, across the top of the heater core and down the A pillar... you know the one that makes us pull our hair out.

Good luck.

Jesus.

Thanks for the help, it does look like the one on the right of x-07. It has sixteen total spots and four spots that are empty. It looks like it connects down by the ecu as shown on page 29. But down there there isn't any extra connectors. The picture is also kind hard to see. Does this mean the dash has to come out? I'm really hoping to avoid that.

It connects to a wire that goes out into the engine bay on that side. Trace the wire diagram and see what it does.

It is blurry when i go to view it so it is hard for me to distinguish which connector is on what wire. What i am understanding is it came from the left side of the car and was for the fuel injection system. The connector it plugged into was for the 13b engine stuff and whet through the right side of the engine bay and to the engine. Since i now have a carb i dont have to worry about it being disconnected.

Thanks
