ok so after pulling out all the interior, and realzing how much all that crap weighs i was thinking about making door cards out of aluminum, and i really want to make an aluminum dash.. i would paint them both, and try to make them look good.. has anyone succesfully made a nice looking aluminum dash? post some pics!

you can get the plastic dash cover for a 84-85 car and make mounts for it. and dont run anything under it. it will make it look less gutted
