Started up the car tonight, flipped on the lights and the lights ourside work, but no dashlights.
Any Ideas?

sounds like your dimmer switch is out, first (although it may seem like an off-topic question) have you done some work that required you to take off your shifter boot and you noticed those two wires that look like they should go together and plugged them up?.

..if so, unplug them and hide them, tape them, mark them whatever it takes to help you remember next time that they don't go together. unless you have (or are planning to convert) to an automatic car.

either way what you can do is either get a new dimmer switch (blackdragonauto.com sells them), or you may be able to find a used one from a member, or the easiest and cheapest way to fix it is to bypass the switch by taking the switch out and wiring both of the power wires together, but be warned that your dash lights will be at full brightness when you turn your lights on. which is still not that very bright in my point of view, but some may find them to be.

check to see if maybe the dimmer switch got bumped too far up or down. if not, then move into the testing of the switch and testing to see if you are getting power to the dimmer

Fuses. Bulbs. In that order.

Let's not forget the simple things, which tend to be the most common, folks.

I had this same problem. It could be the things mentioned above, but I just found out that the connectors behind the cluster had jiggled loose, so when I took out the cluster and put it back in, all was right with the world.

You got it, that's what it was. Stupid me.
Fixed it, just cant adjust the brightness anymore. Nothing broken except no adjustment which is fine.

Thanks.
